| In 1989 there was no importer for Citroën in Hungary at all. The only way to order a BX was the following: an agreement between Machinery Factory in Gödöllő together with Technika Foreign Trade Company and PSA/Citroën to import over 500 AX and BX models. The seller of the car was Lézer Kft. A video. The first Hungarian owner ordered the BX 1.6 TGS with two Zenith carburetors (94 HP) using this method for HUF 987,000.Some data for the selling price:Average salary/month was HUF 8,165 in 1989. Costs increased by more than 25% at the beginning of 1989 due to HUF exchange rates, customs duties and VAT.Prices for socialist types at the end of 1989:Lada 1300S 199,000 HUF, Škoda 120L 176,000 HUF, Trabant 601 91,000 HUF, Dacia 1300 TX 171,000 HUF, Polski Fiat 126P 120,000 HUF (via Index). All original documents are also available for BX: brochures, price lists, order documents and payment receipts. The first owner was a real car lover, all maintenance was done on time and documented until 2016! The mileage is completely verifiable, the car has 100% original paint. With recommendation for fans of the 90s. Very agile even for today's traffic conditions and of course also very comfortable. So practical for a trip as well as for a longer vacation. The highest originality with this low mileage and detailed documentation is not often found. Maybe difficult to buy in France too. | |||||
